This page is dedicated to help our guests find the most up to date information about State & Town Regulations during the Covid-19 Crisis.
In Massachusetts we are currently in Phase 3 of re-opening. You can find out more about what specific businesses are open and regulations on the state's re-opening website here.
Also, please note that there are travel restrictions for anyone traveling to Massachusetts from another state or country. All out of state visitors MUST quarantine for 14 days when arriving in state unless they come from an exempt state or have a negative Covid test within 72 hours of arriving. There is a travel form that needs to be filled out if you are coming from non-exempt state. Please click the link below for the full Mass.gov Travel Restriction information, including a list of exempt states.
The Town of Rockport follows the state's mask order. Masks must be work inside businesses. Masks must be worn outside if one cannot socially distance. Please note in downtown Rockport, mask wear is required outside because it is a busy, congested area. For more information follow the link below.
Rockport's beaches are officially open to residents and non-residents! Most parking lots are still resident only, but anyone can access the beach. The town follows the state guidelines requiring 12 feet distance between groups and mask wear if you cannot socially distance. Front Beach is a little less than a 1/2 mile from the Lodge and an easy walk for any guest staying with us.
The vast majority of restaurants are open. Take out, dine in, and outdoor dining is available. Many restaurants that did not have outdoor dining now have addition outdoor seating.
Shops and Galleries are open for businesses. There are capacity limits so you may have to wait before you can enter.
